Transportation: Train (Kandy-Hatton),Bus (Hatton-Bagawanthalawa),Hired Van (Bagawanthalawa-Northcove cabanas)

Duration: Two days

Northcove cabanas are located in Bagawanthalawa near maskeliya, surrounded by tea plantation which is maintained by Maskeliya plantations. You have to reserve the place through Maskeliya plantations before visiting.
We used Colombo-Hatton train ut reach Hatton and had our lunch there. The restaurant took more than 80 mins to prepare our meals and then we used Public buses to go Bagawanthalawa. One can easily find the Hatton-Bagawanthalawa bus in Hatton main bus stand.

There were few couple of kilometers (around 11kms) t the cabanas from Bagawanthalawa. We had to arrange a van to travel because there are no public transport service for that road.  we were behind our planned time table, so it was around 7 when we arrive to northcove cabanas. So we decided to cancel the BBQ we have planned and let the cooks prepare dinner for us. And it was totally worth!!! The dinner was delicious.

There were four rooms which can accommodate by  around12 people and two bathrooms with hot water. A waterfalls is right in front of the cabanas, and surrounded by tea plantation. The rooms are cozy and the staff is very friendly and supportive.
